GIMP is a free and Open Source image editor that can be downloaded and installed here. We have to use GIMP to do this because unfortunately Inkscape doesn’t allow us to export animated GIFs. Now it’s time for us to open these frames as layers in GIMP so that we can export it as an animated GIF. Step 6: Open the frames as layers in GIMP The name you apply will be a prefix for each of the frames in their numerical order. For this demonstration I named them “Spinner”.
